One of MRC’s main objectives is giving back to immigrants and refugees. One of our ways of doing this is by donating and doing advocacy work to give back to those in need
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week
Every year, Campus Ministry hosts a week of education about hunger and homelessness. MRC contributed with giving information and resources about the connection between immigration and homelessness.
T-Shirt Fundraiser 2022
During National Migration Week 2022, MRC sold 75 shirts, the proceeds were sent to the Wahington English Center (WEC). WEC is a tutoring center in DC that teaches ESL (English as a Secondary Language) to immigrants.
T-Shirt Fundraiser 2021
During National Migration Week 2021. MRC sold 100 t-shirts and raised $800. With that $800 we were able to buy items for Catholic Charities. An organization in DC that sent the items to immigrants at the border.
